Welcome to The Bloomfield Family Foundation

SPECIAL NOTE

The Foundation will consider Letters of Interest from organizations with a revenue budget of under $2,000,000 and a grant proposal up to $10,000. We prioritize proposals that benefit rural and/or underserved communities.

The Bloomfield Family Foundation is a private, unstaffed philanthropic organization founded in 2000 by Margery Bloomfield (1925-2017), a long-time resident of Oregon’s North Coast.

Shaped in part by her early years growing up in a suburb of Cleveland, OH during the Great Depression, Marge was a dedicated advocate of the powers of the humanities and the arts to change lives. Marge aimed to broaden access to creative and educational experiences and provide opportunities for deeper engagement with these activities for people of all ages, focusing on historically underserved individuals and communities. An additional interest area was to contribute to public health through support for research.

We encourage you to learn more about us and our grant areas based on our core principles. We also encourage you to explore the list of organizations we have recently supported.
